click here for the Enrollment Reservation Form
Thank you for your interest in attending Keiki Care
Center of Hawaii, Inc. Please print and complete an Enrollment Reservation Form
to secure your child’s space in Pearl City’s newest preschool. Discounts will be
available to families with multiple children, and also to children of KCCOH
staff.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order for you
to access the Enrollment Reservation Form. Please click on the icon
to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
A non-refundable application fee of $40 must accompany each Enrollment
Reservation Form. All applications currently on record will continue to hold
their position on the application list. Once KCCOH has received your application
and fee payment, you will receive an acceptance letter, providing there is space
available, otherwise you will be notified of placement on our waiting list. The
letter will notify you of your tuition deposit and the date it needs to be
received in order to secure your child’s space. Your deposit will be applied to
your last month of tuition for the school year. New students are generally
accepted on a first come, first serve basis. In the event of an unusually high
volume of applications that are submitted early, we reserve the right to
implement a lottery system. In order to be eligible for the next school year’s
admissions lottery, applications must be postmarked by December 31 of the
previous year. The lottery will be held in January and parents/guardians will be
informed of their child’s status thereafter. Once all applications in the
lottery have been honored, all other applications will be considered in the
order that they are received.
Children entering a program for a particular age group must attain that age by
July 31st of the school year. For example, all 3-year old children starting
school in August must have turned 3 by July 31st of the school year. This age of
entry change was necessary to be in line with the new State of Hawaii law, Act
178, requiring in the school year 2014-15, for children to be least 5 years of
age by July 31st. Two-year-olds, however, must be 2 by the first day of school
regardless.
Children entering our 2-year old program do not need to be toilet trained.
Children entering the 3- and 4-year old program, however, must be toilet
trained. Exceptions may be made for children with special needs, or for those on
the verge of being 100% toilet trained. (Please call to speak with the Director
for more details/clarification.)
Children will not be discriminated against because of religion, race, color,
creed, or national origin. For new students to be eligible for priority
admission, the application must be postmarked by December 31 of the immediately
preceding year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact KCCOH
by emailing info@keikicarehawaii.com.
